Software Engineer

This role can be based on the Eastern seaboard in either our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office. Your day-to-day
 

• Design and develop scalable and performant Golang-based backend systems to support new product features
• Implementing and maintaining efficient, scalable, and robust code to ensure the smooth operation of our apps.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing long-term fixes to bugs.
• Writing and maintaining test coverage.
• Executing projects within timeframes and communicating well with all stakeholders.
   

What You'll Bring...
 

• Proven experience with Go or comparable compiled, server-oriented programming languages with a focus on delivering product features. Previous experience with Go is highly desirable, however, not essential.
• Experience with the utilization of JavaScript build/test tools such as NPM, Webpack, Babel, and Jest
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient background in working with traditional relational databases, including MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, and others
• Passion for sports and a keen interest in the sports betting industry
