Specialist Fv Advisor

Description:

The SFVA uses their knowledge and expertise of the family violence sector to assist staff at MMH&WS to navigate the specialist family violence service systems, provide information on best practice and ensure that appropriate policy and governance frameworks are in place.

About You

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with successful completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a Post graduate Psychiatric/mental health nursing qualification or
• An approved degree in Psychology and registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or
• An approved degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or
• An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers and
• Formal qualification/ post graduate qualification in Family Violence.
• Experience working in family violence with a sound knowledge of the clinical mental health sector
• A current Victorian Driver’s License and ability to drive a work vehicle
