An opportunity to support the set-up and ongoing coordination of a state-wide Paediatric Rehabilitation Service in Tasmania.

The role:

• As a member of the Tasmanian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (TPRS), the Statewide Coordinator:

  • Provides leadership in the development of the statewide service and the staged implementation of the TPRS Model of Care, under the broad direction of the Clinical Director - WACS and in collaboration with local multidisciplinary teams across the State.
  • Actively contribute to strategic service delivery issues and the efficient and effective provision of paediatric rehabilitation care across the state based on clinical standards and best practice principles, within an interdisciplinary framework.
  • Provides specialist advice and is a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including multidisciplinary teams, families/carers, referrers, clinicians, managers, and external service providers.
