Description:
Our Queensland government client is experiencing rapid growth due to recent changes in legislation, resulting in the expansion of their small/medium sized team. To support them on this exciting growth journey they are looking for a temporary (up to 6 months) full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist.
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have experience:
- Providing end-to-end recruitment support. From consulting with line managers to drafting position descriptions to overseeing advertising, coordinating interviews, attending interviews and writing selection reports and all processes in-between.
- Independently managing recruitment projects, from establishing recruitment timelines and overseeing milestone deliverables to providing regular updates to line managers and executives so all parties remain well informed.
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relations, providing talent acquisition subject matter expertise and ensuring people and culture programs remain well aligned to the business requirements.
- Working with government systems, including Springboard and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn to further develop networks and applicant pools.
- Driving people and culture recruitment and talent acquisition strategies and policies that promote inclusivity, diversity, equality and safety.
