Binnaway Central School is a small K-12 school with an enrolment of approximately 60 students (17 secondary). The school has an experienced and dedicated teaching and executive staff with a focus on the whole student. We work closely with families and community members to provide a diverse range of opportunities for our students. Just over 20% of our students identify as Aboriginal. We are approximately 35kms from Coonabarabran and 120kms from Dubbo.

• Approval to teach Industrial Technology – Timber and Industrial Technology – Metal with approval and/or willingness to teach Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8) and Design and Technology

• Demonstrated capacity to provide engaging and challenging differentiated lessons and programs to cater for student diversity and students with additional learning and support needs.

• Proven ability to manage practical work spaces to ensure student safety, full participation and high levels of engagement in lessons.

• Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with proven ability to build positive and productive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community with a demonstrated willingness to contribute to faculty and whole school programs and initiatives.
