Description:
Well-established, locally owned refrigeration and air conditioning solutions business in Brisbane is seeking a Team Leader to join its team. The successful candidate will contribute to the business by providing leadership and direction to the team of technicians and apprentices as well as working closely with the GM and Estimation Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the team of technicians and apprentices, providing balanced and effective feedback to ensure the team is operating as efficiently as possible.
- Attend site meetings as the main representative, scoping the job and communicating any potential issues or concerns through to GM and BDM.
- Ensuring all work is delivered as per the quoted scope of works and budgets.
- Accountable for ensuring all employee training is up to expected standard and advising GM of any areas that need improvement.
- Responsible for technical support for tradesmen or apprentices on any site-related concerns.
- Responsible for on-site quality control, ensuring the team is delivering a product of high quality.
- Responsible for on-site customer relations with builders or contractors.
Skills Required
- 5+ years post apprenticeship with experience in leading a team.
- Qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning.
- QBCC and ARCtick licensed.
