Theatre Coordinator

Description:

As an outstanding Theatre Coordinator Nurse, you will provide leadership and direction to the operating theatre team. The role includes overall coordination of 10 theatres and CBOT & GF PACU areas, staffing allocation and interdepartmental communication and coordination of patients.

Your skills and experience will include:
 

• Minimum of 3 years in an operating suite
• Experience coordinating in an operative suite
• Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
• Ability to plan and coordinate patient care effectively, maintain patient advocacy and utilise patient management systems
• Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members
• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, legislation and ACORN Standards
