Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join a busy transport team and play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely collections and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and optimise delivery routes to minimise delays and maximise efficiency.
- Monitor real-time fleet performance, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Communicate clearly with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and updates.
- Schedule collections and deliveries, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Liaise with customer support to resolve delivery issues quickly and professionally.
- Manage freight labelling, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee manifest management, maintaining up-to-date and accurate documentation.
- Provide operational support to the wider transport team as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics planning role.
- Solid understanding of transport regulations (e.g., driver hours, safety standards).
- Familiarity with routing software and real-time tracking systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with transport management systems is an advantage.
