Tug Master (master Class 4 / 35-meter)

Description:

North Marine is seeking an experienced tugboat captain - Master Class 4 / 35-Meter - to assist with a temporary project in Skardon River, Queensland.

The position involves assisting (up to) 90-meter dumb barges in and out of Skardon River. Tug and barge experience is essential.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia, and hold all pre-requisite marine qualifications.

The work is scheduled to commence on Friday 24th June 2022, with a flight departing from Cairns to Skardon River for an immediate start.

The work duration is approximately one month and applicants will be considered if they are available for a minimum of two weeks of the project time.

North Marine is a busy Marine Support company based in the Port of Cairns, QLD, and there is the option of ongoing casual work for the right candidate.
