The on call case load, which you can choose to participate in if you want, brings an exciting array of medical and surgical small animal cases from fracture repairs to snakebites.
A love for kelpies is a must for this position. The practice is mostly small animals but also does first opinion equine and bovine. A sole small animal vet would also be sought after. The practice has a close connection with the local wildlife group and receives many kangaroos, echidnas, wombats, and birds including the occasional wedge tail eagle.
Shared accommodation might be possible.
Mentoring/backup support could be arranged for a recent graduate if required.
