Property Accountant

As one of the established organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join their team. This is a 5 months fixed term contract position till the end of June with potential to get extended. Work Holiday Visa candidates are welcomed to apply!

About The Opportunity / Responsibilities

Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, your main responsibilities are:
 

• Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate accounting processes are completed each month; Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Month end journals and accruals, Cost Allocation, Forecasting, Weekly supplier payments, Cost allocations, Reconciliations
• Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports to internal and external stakeholders within contract agreements; Client finance reporting, Variance analysis and General Ad Hoc reporting
• Drive continuous improvement to forecasting processes and templates and challenge the business on forecast assumptions
• Ensure compliance with internal control structures
• Drive efficiency and productivity through standardization and improvements to reporting and processes
• Other Ad-hoc tasks as required
   

Ideal Profile

To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function:
 

• Degree in Accounting & Finance
• CPA/CA/ACCA qualified or working towards completing
• 2 years or more experience in a similar role
• Experience in any large Accounting ERP system - JD Edwards (JDE) preferred but not mandatory
• Intermediate Excel knowledge
• Improve business processes to increase productivity
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Open to candidates who are on a Work Holiday Visa!
